Our history
CNB MOTs has been running as an independent garage for over 15 years. Chandraseka, the founder of the business started in the vehicle repairs industry in Southampton.
Building up a reputation and a clientele from word-of-mouth, CNB MOTs founded their new home in North Baddesley in 2010. Originally as a repairs garage, the unit was transformed into an MOT station in 2015, using the most up-to-date technology in the industry.

Since then, we've continued to maintain our excellent local presence for both repairs and our MOT testing services. Throughout the journey, we've continued to uphold our core values that help to endure our passion for providing every customer with value for money with an outstanding level of quality assurance.

CNB MOTs has a long history and reputation on our capabilities in mechanical repairs. We have and continue to uphold a strong reputation on providing our customers with value for money on high-quality repairs on thousands of vehicles through the past 20 years.
This means that as an MOT Station, we have the expertise not only to test your vehicle for any immediate issues that may result in your vehicle failing but to also help highlight any potential future issues. We will always pass your vehicle when ​it meets the minimum requirements for passing but are on hand to help when there may be other issues arising. Our team can identify, isolate and repair any issue.

We can do almost any repair. If we find in the rare instance that we're unable to complete the work, we will refer you to the best garage that can help.

The success of CNB MOTs has been built upon building a strong reputation across Hampshire. This has led to strong relationships with both customers and part suppliers. This means that we're in the best position to offer you great value for money on your car repairs and MOT tests. We can do this by consistently doing the following:

Negotiating the price of car parts with our regular suppliers - Where recommended, we'll always offer you the option between a genuine manufacturer's part or a refurbished / alternative part.

Not adding significant mark-up on the car part costs - this is a rare feature for a repairs garage.

Setting our rate of labour at a competitive price - we'd rather provide you with a great value bill so that you recommend CNB MOTs to your friends and family, and come back to us the next time you need us.

We do not need to spend much on marketing costs - our customer base is primarily driven by word-of-mouth, so there's no need for us to recoup these costs.
Free Vehicle Diagnosis
CNB MOTs are proud to offer all customers with a free vehicle diagnosis. No matter how small or large you think your vehicle issue may be, you should not have to pay to have an issue investigated. There are a number of companies in Hampshire that work with comparison websites and list extortionate pricing just to have a vehicle looked at. We think this is the wrong approach to take.
We want to serve our customers across Hampshire with fairness and integrity, which is why it will not cost you any money for a vehicle diagnosis. We take pride in maintaining a customer base that will visit us across many years – many of them travel miles past their local garage, just because they trust CNB MOTs to provide an excellent service at a competitive rate.
So, if you hear a rattle that you’re unsure about, there’s no need to take a risk. Instead, just visit our garage and we would be happy to take a look.
We do recommend that you give our Reception a call before, so we can schedule your appointment in advance to save you waiting around.
The team
CNB MOTs are a small-knit team of dedicated individuals. All employees are long-term serving individuals who are embedded in our passion and values. We never outsource our work outside of CNB MOTs. However, if we know there's someone better out there for the job, we'll recommend them to you!

Chandraseka (better known as Chand) has run his own business for over 20 years, building up a huge reputation in the South Coast for his honesty and expertise. As one of the first 'mobile mechanics' he started off recovering and repairing cars and vans throughout Hampshire. He then moved to repairs from the Barn in North Baddesley, later converting it into an MOT Station. Chand now provides a comprehensive service for any customer needs.
